QUINCE PRODUCTION & SALES
Our quince (cydonia oblonga) plant was established back in 2012 at an area of 3.25 hectares in the middle of Hungary next to Kecskemet. The plant consists of 4 species: Vranja, Lescovacz, Konstantinapel and Triumph which are continuously harvested between September and November.
Annual expected yield is between 20-100 tons - depending on the weather conditions of the given year - which can serve the needs of small to large customers.
We have experience in quince export of large quantity and high quality (sales to Germany, Austria and Slovakia), and can help in administration and transport from Hungary as well.

Size: medium, weight 300 to 500 g, diameter 7-11 cm
Colour: strong yellow
Taste, smell: strong quince smell and taste
Best use: juice, jam, jelly, pulp
Hairyness: hardly hairy
Advantages: good looking apple shape, not too hard
Konstantinapel
Origin: unknown
Harvest time: 2nd week of Oct to 4th week of Oct
Shape: apple (rare cases pear) shape
Size: small, weight 200 to 350 g, diameter 7-9 cm
Colour: strong yellow
Taste, smell: strong quince smell and taste
Best use: jam, jelly, pulp
Hairyness: strongly hairy
Advantages: strongest smell and taste from all species, best for producing snaps
Quince sales 2024
We are accepting orders for quince sales throughout the year, harvest and delivery is taking place in September-November. Sales prices depend on quality, ordered quantity and actual demand on the market. Our 2024 sales prices will be set and communicated at mid of September 2024.
